I will be using this website as a hub to explore my interest in computer programming and will be tracking my progress on various projects that I find interesting through my blog.

What's with the name?

Well, for starters, every decent dot com domain name is already registered!
According to wikipedia, a stoop is a small staircase ending in a platform and leading to the entrance of an apartment building or other building.
My thought is that WebStoop can be thought of as the entrance ... to the web ;) (cut me some slack, this is better than using something like myname.com)

About me:

I am a Computer Engineering and Management Science student at the University of California, San Diego. Right now I'm working part-time as a C# developer intern for L-3 Communications. Outside of the technical world, I spend my time playing/watching basketball (Go Lakers!) and exploring new mountain biking trials.
